Next Steps: Seth will continue to experience team activities with the focus on working as part of one team to reach a goal.

Health
Learning Goals:

1.Engage in learning activities that involve keeping themselves safe.
2.Learn “who” are the people that can help them and how to access that help.
3.Engage in learning activities to develop friendship skills.
Evaluation: Seth has engaged in activities involving naming the people in his life who he would ask to help him if he needed assistance. He has role played situations where he has had to ask for help and he has chosen to ask parents and grandparents for help at home, and teachers for help at school. Seth knows that a police person will help him if he needs help out in the community. As part of friendship activities this term, Seth has participated in learning to pay a compliment to friends in our class. As part of 'boys club' Seth has also practiced skills around wiping his bottom in the correct direction and until it is clean.

PMP: Seth has participated in PMP on Monday mornings and Thursdays with Sharon Utteridge.

Swimming: Seth will learn to hold the float correctly, kick with arms extended on his front. He will play in the water, relax and enjoy. Seth will float and kick on his back.
Seth is learning to hold the board with straight arms and to kick fast so that his feet do not sink. He is also learning to float on his back with his head right back in the water so that he can float safely if he ended up in deep water. Seth clearly enjoys the water and can swim under water using his arms and legs to move.

Fitness:
Seth participated in physical activities with the goal of extending his fitness and well being by running or walking around the school field 2 or more times daily.
Seth was a keen participant in this exercise and ran hard to be the winner.

PMP:
Seth
PMP sessions this half of the year have focussed on teamwork, cooperation and decision making skills via a series of physical circuits, games and fun activities. Seth is always a keen participant during these sessions and enjoys the interaction with others and/or myself. He is comfortable with communicating his likes and dislikes and is mostly able to attempt every activity with success. Seth really enjoyed the fun activities of hula hoop challenges, musical hoops and games such as duck, duck goose. He is a delight to have in PMP.
